We recently flew out to Vegas to visit with my brother's family and have the two sets of cousins hang out together. Three girls versus one Ellis. Suffice it to say that it was not a fair fight, but thankfully all had a great time. No joke, Ellis and I were forcebly asked to vacate the Green Valley Casino in Henderson because of some gaming law that does not allow babies in a casino. I am certain that Ellis' future life of crime will undoubtedly be traced back to this incident... Pretty funny stuff, and I also had to leave behind some hard earned nickels at one of the 5 cent slots... We also had the privilege to visit the nearby Red Rock Canyon in person, and see my brother in action with his high schoolers at the church he works at, Central Christian Henderson. Here are some photos from the trip. Enjoy...Oh, and one more thing, Emily, Madison and Brookie, you three a bigtime woodles!

We visited Los Angeles earlier this month to check in with friends and also dedicate Ellis at our former church Christian Assembly. It was great to see the Harrisons, Mischkots, Whites, Bollows, Rogers, Philly Billy, Prima Debby, Alex Hepburn, Parks, Klines, Alex Froloff, and many others. We were fortunate enough to be able to catch up with a whole community of friends who incidentally seemed to also be carrying newborns or toddlers. Thanks to Julie Wood and Annette White for planning the dedication luncheon, and Jason for letting us crash at his place in Burbank while in India. Some of the photos will indicate that there was some major networking in regards to our search for Ellis' future wife....We will not be saying who came out ahead as a result of the weekend..but her initials are....

enjoy!! george, heather and ellis

Okay, no good reason for this post other than to show off Ellis' new Oakland A's outfit...Bring on the baseball season!
Heather, Ellis and I were fortunate enough to visit Maui in February for Ellis' first time experience with the Islands, and to use some of Heather's remaining time before she went back to work for a family vacation. We had a great time, Ellis realized for the first time that the guy that hangs around mornings and evenings (who likes to make funny noises) is his father. Overall we really bonded as a family and did a great job of eating our weight in strawberry papayas. Also, Ellis caught his first wave, snorkeled Molokini, swam with the sea turtles, and even found time to bike down the Haleakala Crater. Amazing the stamina on this 4 1/2 month old! We were also fortunate enough to see our amazing friends Danny and Mari Paquette. They did not pay us to say this, but please visit the Tiki Lounge Restaurant whenever you are in the Kihei Area. Enjoy the photos. Mahalo. George and Heather and Ellis

Ellis was able to experience his first airplane flight, and although his parents undertook the trip with much fear and trembling, he was fine during both segments of flights. We even got a compliment from a flight attendant, who was completely unaware that we had a newborn with us. Yeah for Ellis! We're keeping him!

Due to the fact that we could not spend the holidays with Heather's family in the Pacific Northwest, we decided to fly up in January and see much of the family. Here are some of the visuals from our trip, including photos of many in Heather's family. We were also fortunate enough to bump into our former Bay Area Friends Howie and Beth Smith and their twin boys...Enjoy! Gp + hp + ep

Ellis just celebrated his 3rd month of life...Here are some of the photos taken during this time and a much needed shot of Ellis with his dad. Enjoy...

Here are some new photos of our amazing son Ellis Anthony...To update, he is still working on his dance moves (see earlier post), and we could have sworn that he said the word "hi" yesterday a couple of times. Now that he has mastered English, we will be starting his language training in German sometime next week...He went to the doctor today, and we were grateful to hear that our prayers were answered as the doctor could not find any trace of his earlier heart arrhythmia. We also found out today that is now over 16 lbs and 25 inches tall! Hard to believe that not that long ago he was half that weight and nearly 6 inches shorter. The local NFL football teams are already calling inquiring about his availability in 20 + years...Now if he could only grow some more hair! Enjoy the photos! Thanks for checking in...george, heather and ellis.
