Heather, Ellis, Avery and I recently embarked on a trek up to the Pacific Northwest just a couple weeks after Avery's birth to celebrate Christmas and New Years with our families...Although it went much better than we could have hoped, it was a learning experience traveling with a newborn and a very energetic 2 year old. We had an amazing time with family and even experienced a Oregon snowstorm during our stay...A racquetball grudge was even renewed...Thank you to Bapa and Nana and Papa Arnie and Grandma for their amazing hospitality and generosity...Thanks also to Heidi and Lillian for being great travel mates...george and heather

We had a number of visits right after Avery was born (in the case of Heidi, she flew in from Seattle about 4 hours after she was born). It was amazing having Heidi and Bryan (Bapa) and Nancy (Nana) in town, and we could be more grateful for their generosity and servanthood during their visits. My mom has also been incredible watching Ellis and our dog Otis while we were in the hospital and keeping us sane during this transitional time. In fact, we have been overwhelmed by everyone's generosity to us and Avery, from multiple workplace baby showers, MPPC dinners this week, a new swing set for Ellis by his Bapa, and far too many instances of incredible generosity these last few weeks. We are a truly blessed family and blessed to be part of such a great community far and near...Thank you to all...George, Heather, Ellis and Avery
