Grandpa Arneson and his lovely new bride Nancy were just in town for a long weekend. It was surprising how quickly Ellis took to his grandpa, and how much they bonded. Ellis, Heather and Grandpa were able to visit Filoli Gardens and participate in Ellis' favorite pastime other than his morning milk and trying to catch birds; riding trains. Heather and I recently celebrated our 4th Wedding Anniversary. We left Ellis with my mom, or his abuela, and we headed out to Napa for the weekend. We were fortunate enough to be able to see Bill Cosby live on Saturday Night, sample some Napa Valley Wineries, and catch the Amgen Bike Tour as it passed through Calistoga. Somewhere in the Amgen group (photos attached below) was Lance Armstrong, but I could not honestly say I saw him between the rain and them zipping by. It was a great weekend, and hard to believe that it's been 4 years already...Heather, in the event you read this, it's been the fastest and best 4 years of my life! I have an awesome wife!
